I am a certified TESOL teacher from England. A native English Speaker with a neutral British accent. Currently living in Luxor Egypt where I teach General and Business English to Adults online via Skype, in a classroom environment and for private tuition. I help my students prepare for exams such as FCE, IELTS, and TOEFL, covering all four levels, Listening, Reading, Speaking and Writing. I offer classes for students from Elementary through to Advanced level in English, either for General or Business use. My teaching style is motivating, encouraging and relaxed. I have an easy going personality with a positive outlook which I bring through into my classes, encouraging students to improve their English skills in a relaxed and friendly way. One of the things I love about teaching is how I watch my students develop from the start of the course where they were shy and lacked confidence to use their English. When they have just had a few lessons their confidence has grown and their ability to communicate is much more effective. I adore my language and love being able to share with others something I have used all my life. Before I started teaching, I was a successful Recruitment Consultant. This involved communicating with people in the Business world on a daily basis, via telephone, email and face to face meetings. A fast paced role, one minute I could be speaking to the CEO of an international company, the next speaking to a school leaver, looking for their first job. I would work closely with the candidates and clients alike, helping the candidates with their CV's by proof reading and editing to improve their chances of applying for jobs. When they were successful in getting an interview, I helped them prepare for interview. Working with the clients I would offer solutions to the problems they faced with their recruitment and find suitable candidates to work for them. For many years I have been using Business English on a daily basis, both speaking and writing in various forms. I have always had a passion for travelling and exploring different cultures so at the moment I am living my dream in a hot country, where the sun nearly always shines. I also enjoy reading and walking. Living in Egypt I also decided to learn Arabic as well, so I know what its like to learn a different language.
