Anthony is a qualified and certified English language teacher from Nottingham (UK). He has a part Master’s degree in Customer Services Management and a BA (Hons) in Politics. Whilst a student at college and university Anthony studied Russian history and politics. Anthony was a certified Oral Examiner for the University of London (Edexcel EFL examinations), (2001 - 2004). He has prepared students for the University of Cambridge, University of Michigan and the University of London exams since 2001. Anthony gives General and Business English lessons, prepares for FCE, CAE and CPE examinations. Class discussions include an extremely wide range of topics, e.g. art, literature, history, cinematography, politics, current news, social issues, business etc. Anthony has been teaching English for nearly 20 years in the UK, Greece and Germany, where he now lives. His teaching experience includes working with beginners to advanced levels of the English language. He has worked in language schools, and now works exclusively online. He has previously worked with an international outsourcing company and with ‘blue chip’ companies e.g. Siemens, Deutsche Bank, Intel, Cisco and Lufthansa. He has worked with and taught school and university students, employees and senior executives to CEO level. Also Anthony wrote a book Welcome to writing which was published in 2004. It’s a clear and well-structured teaching aid for the teaching and learning of written English as a Foreign Language (EFL). One of Anthony’s hobbies is writing books of fiction & humour (he has published 2 in 2010). Also he has an active interest in film making and film editing, and enjoys photography and painting. Finally, Anthony is an enthusiastic EFL teacher and passionate about helping students to succeed in their English language studies. His experience, knowledge and a great sense of humour always make his classes effective and exciting.
